The Faerie Journals

How This Journey Began…

“Two years ago, I found a frayed old journal in a chest, hidden away in a stump of a decaying tree. “1829” was the date written across the first page and it spanned several years. Intrigued, I read further to discover that these were accounts written by a man that had documented visitations between himself and a female called “Wakanda”. I thought a love story at first, until I came to the realization that Wakanda could not be real, not even human! He described her as “a beautiful winged supernatural being.” A faerie? My initial reaction was that either the man was insane or it had all been a great hoax. What other explanation could there be?

Several years have passed since my discovery and upon further investigation; I now know the accounts were real. How I came to know this happened after I decided to reexamine the Journal, curious of its author. Something drew my attention; the man referred to some“ photogenic drawings” that he had hidden away for protection. These early type photographs included not only Wakanda, but many of her faerie clan as well. If I could find these images, I would know for sure…and so I set off to do just that.

Finding where the negative plates had been concealed has been a journey in itself, (really never knowing if they actually existed at all). Miraculously, I did locate and finally had the opportunity to print the images. To my complete disappointment, they turned out to be nothing out of the ordinary – just very early specimens of simple black and white photographs; with no faeries to be found anywhere! After all I had been through; I just couldn’t believe this… I felt so foolish. I threw the prints in frustration and they scattered across the floor. That’s when something unexplainable occurred…

Outside, the moon lay full and streamed through an open window. As I knelt down to gather up the images, one print had slid across the hardwood floor and fallen into the path of the moon’s rays. As I reached through the stream of light, something happened before my very eyes - the photograph began to change. A kind of “reaction” was some how triggered by the moonlight striking the surface of the paper and magically, the faeries began to slowly fade up onto the print…in beautiful color as well! (This was truly astonishing since I had used black & white chemistry!)

This unexplainable event has completely disintegrated the line between what I thought was real and the unbelievable. Going back to the Journal and reading over and over the detailed pages, it became apparent that the author had been carefully directed by these very advanced beings, utilizing methods beyond even present photographic knowledge. Their intent was to prove to our world that they were here! So what happened? Why didn’t the world find out? This is the mystery that I seek to answer. The following excerpt undoubtedly had something to do with why this secret remained hidden.

“…this enemy has gone to insurmountable lengths to keep the truth from us. The scars of history reflect the penalties we have all paid for our ignorance…but I fear I may have no alternative then to conceal all evidence. This I do for all those who wrote before me and for those who will come after…if need be, I shall speak only but a whisper of this into the ear of destiny...”

I do not know the fate of the author…this was the last entry and then the Journal suddenly ends. I also do not know if this “enemy” still exits and if this is the right time. I often wonder if the chest was meant for another and perhaps I simply stumbled upon it…these are questions I cannot answer now. I am sure of the intentions of the last Journal Keeper and the intentions of the faeries and that was to share this truth and why I have come forward with these images. These beautiful beings were here to teach us, each bringing a unique gift to aid in the evolution of our world. I believe they are still with us and perhaps all we need to do to collectively ask for their assistance once again.

By bringing these images forward along with the fragments of my journey, I hope to awaken a curiosity in each of you. Keep them in your thoughts. Let this story live in you, even if for now - it is just in your imagination. I believe that it is through the imagination that we have the closest and clearest links back to our origins and universal truths. Man’s intellectual knowledge is defined by what he can prove and understand in this world; our imaginations however, can show us worlds we never even fathomed…

I will keep my identity anonymous for now, to protect what I have vowed to do. I will share with you all the information that I can in the on-line Journal section of this site.
