Entry Number Five

Dear Friend,

One question that runs through my head is this idea that perhaps I was not the “one” who was to find the Journal. The fact is that the previous Journal Keeper of 1829 freely interacted with the faeries….had long involved conversations (how I am not exactly sure of). Yet, I have been in the possession of the Journal for over two years and aside from the faeries appearing on the prints before my eyes (which was quite incredible) I physically have seen nothing, although I do feel the presence of something at times…but I wonder if this is just my desire to be reassured that I have done the right thing by taking the Journal in the first place.

In doing research, there are those who claim to see faeries or had seen them when they were very young. I had always put this down to more a playful, fun fantasy than a reality. Now I want to know…are there really those who can see faeries? If it is true - are they the same faeries written about in the Journal? Are all faeries the same? (These faeries are nothing like what I had ever read about in faerie tales.)

I do not doubt their existence…I also believe from the Journal that they are still among us…that this is the time the Journal was to be found…that our world is ready…

So if all this is true, why have I not had any contact? Perhaps I just don’t know how to communicate…maybe there is a trick…but what…how do you find the realm of the faeries?
